Baptism at Mountain Lake

At Mountain Lake Church, we know people often have questions regarding baptism.
  • Why should I be baptized?
  • I’ve already been baptized; do I have to do it again?
  • Does it matter if you are sprinkled or dunked?
Answers to these commonly asked questions are found in the Bible. We believe it clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a follower of Christ to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ.  Whether you're 8, 18 or 88 years old, baptism is very special and meaningful.  To read more about what the Bible has to say, click here.

If you are considering baptism or want to know more about it,you need to speak with a member of our Spiritual Decisions team.  This discussion will give you answers to your questions about the process of being baptized at Mountain Lake.

Please note the following concerning baptism at Mountain Lake:

  • This conversation does not require you to actually be baptized if you are not ready to do so.
