Using Our Gifts

When we talk about Using our Gifts at Mountain Lake, we are talking about volunteering in the life of the church. We believe that using our gifts is an important step in the journey of "Belonging and Becoming."

Using our gifts helps us to "belong and become" because:

• We will belong in real relationships as we connect with others on our Volunteer Team! No one at Mountain Lake serves alone! We're better together!
• We will become more like Jesus Christ as we take time to step outside of ourselves and serve others in love. Using our gifts makes us feel alive and fulfilled! It's fun!

When we use our gifts, it helps others to "belong and become" because:

• All of our Volunteer Teams help to change the way people think about church so that they can begin their own journeys of "belonging and becoming!" You can be sure that when you use your gifts at Mountain Lake, you are making a huge difference in the lives of others!
